I had been taking pictures of my poppies. They truly are beautiful from any angle, and I enjoy getting shots of them in their different stages and poses. I enjoyed selecting the batiks for the background, and coordinating the values of the reds, using some of my favorite dot material for the leaves.  I used a tiny bit of purple in the grass to pull the eye down from the sky to the green grasses below.  It was a FUN piece to do.
